Rapper Lil Wayne set to realize new mistape "No Ceilings 2" Mixtape Trailer

it looks like Lil Wayne's No Ceilings 2 mixtape is officially arriving on November 26th, otherwise known as Thanksgiving day. While Wayne had previously reported the tape would be hitting on Thanksgiving, these kind of announcements are always taken with a grain of salt. Today, the official trailer has arrived, and we're confident we'll be treated to some new music from Weezy (hopefully in time to soundtrack our Thanksgiving festivities).

'The Queen of England recognised my performance, but Nigeria did not' - Young Nigerian laments

The guy sent me his message to share. Read below...
My name is Akinmuda Oluwafemi, presently a 500level medical student of the college of Medicine, university of lagos. October 19 2007, at the age of 15, I alongside Mercy Richards, Yetunde Brown and Henry Akahara‎ represented Nigeria at the House of Commons, London to participate in the world slavery youth debate. We returned back to Nigeria with Gold medals.

An Evidence of good performance and representation of the federal republic of Nigeria. Only Henry Akahara was granted scholarship by the lagos state government under the administration of Governor Raji fashola to study in the UK... he claimed to have been the only one that went for the debate and won the medal and the lagos state government without making further investigations granted him. I remember, the director of the British council called a meeting with we all and our parents to be quiet that in due time we would be called. Till now, nothing. I'm just reminiscing, next year I would be a doctor, do I want to serve this country?Does this country have anything to offer?
Even when you go the extra mile to represent and honour this country at different levels and you still are not appreciated, I ask myself is it worth it being a Nigerian? On second thoughts however, is it just the PDP government that was so selfish and corrupt and won't recognise an award for excellence from the highest level "The Queen of England Herself" courtesy LORD John Prescott? Is it worth is being a Nigerian??? Google "kemishia Kelly"‎ she was a participant, ever since recognised by Jamaica as a participant. Even wikipedia recognises her. All other people that participated in the debate today are recognised for their excellence and hold strong posts in their various countries.
And here I am, just reminiscing. I just want all Nigerians to read this, and think of it over and over...‎. So in all I just want this to go public, and let all Nigerians feel my pain, and lookout for this APC administration. Would they prove me wrong about my feeling as a Nigerian? Do they appreciate excellence?? Time would tell...

Jenny McCarthy calls out Charlie Sheen for not telling her he had HIV when they worked together

Since Charlie Sheen announced that he is HIV-positive on the 'Today' show, there has been split opinions with some praising him for being brave enough to speak openly about it, while others have lambasted him and Sheen's 'Two and a Half Men' co-star, Jenny McCarthy has a whole lot to say about the matter.

On her Sirius XM show 'Dirty very Funny,' she recalled her time on the show and wondered why Sheen didn't disclose his HIV status to his co-stars, particularly those he made out with.

"Before we do a job, we have to sign a piece of paper that says, 'Do you have cold sores?' " McCarthy said. " ... I'm like, 'Wait a second. If I have to be upfront about a herpe, how could you not be upfront about HIV?' I look back and I'm like, that would have been valuable information. I mean, look how many people have played his love interest on the show."

"I mean, not that you can, obviously, get it through kissing," she said. "But still, that's a big deal." she added.

The 43-year-old admitted she has had all of her plesure partners sign a form indicating they were STD-free because she thought they would be around for a while and could help take care of her son.
"I 'm STD-phobic because of all the stuff with Evan's health," she said. "I have sympathy for him because he's sick and it's awful, but man he's going to have to take accountability for many people in his life."

Charlie Sheen's manager Mark Burg responded to McCarthy's comment.
"Charlie was infected long after he left Two and a Half Men and long after he worked with Jenny," the statement reads.

Funmi Iyanda becomes first African Woman to receive honorary fellowship from University of Cumbria

This month, Funmi Iyanda will receive what is for her, the latest in a long line of awards, but this time from an English university that has recognised her significant global contribution to human rights and sustainability. At a University of Cumbria graduation ceremony in the historic Carlisle Cathedral on Wednesday 25 November, Funmi will receive an honorary fellowship from the institution in acknowledgment of her outstanding and high profile work.

Funmi is the first African woman to receive this award. An award winning Nigerian media entrepreneur, producer, talk show host, journalist and activist, Funmi is best known for independently producing and hosting Nigeria’s most popular and ground-breaking talk show New Dawn with Funmi, which ran on the national network for eight years.

She is a Director at Creation television, a film production company in the United Kingdom, acquiring classic African literary content for film adaptation to a global audience. She is also the founder of the Change-A-Life Foundation, a social service non-profit organization that acts as a bridge between exceptional but indigent youth and women and the individuals, agencies and organizations with the capacity and willingness to meet these people’s needs.

Funmi has worked closely with the University of Cumbria for a number of years, in particular with its Institute for Leadership and Sustainability (IFLAS), where her achievements and inspiration make her a role model to the growing contingent of African students who enrol on the MBA. She has been recognised by the World Economic Forum making her a Young Global Leader (YGL) and by Forbes magazine naming her one of Africa’s most powerful and influential women, and is a Fellow of the Aspen Institute World Global Leaders Programme.

Speaking on receiving the award, Funmi said, “I am truly honoured to have my work and career recognised by such a historic institution and thankful for a great space to contribute to a diverse body of knowledge.” IFLAS Founder and Professor of Sustainability Leadership, Jem Bendell, says of Funmi, “She demonstrates how celebrity and media can be used to raise the level of debate about what kind of society, politics and economy we want.

“Given the gossip and squabbling in much mainstream media, it is important that our cultural leaders call us to consider what really matters in life, like poverty, equality, and the environment. We look forward to working further with Funmi on a range of our activities in both the UK and Africa.”

The University of Cumbria teaches leadership and sustainability to hundreds of senior executives from across Africa, through its MBA programmes with the Robert Kennedy College. IFLAS has over 500 African MBA students.

Eagles of Death Metal describe horror of concert massacre, says fans hidden in their dressing room were slaughtered

On Friday November 13th, gunmen invaded the Bataclan concert hall and shot dead fans who came out to watch US band, The Eagles of Death Metal, all 89 of them killed. And the artists talked about the horror of that evening for the first time in an emotional interview.

Lead singer Jesse Hughes (centre) said fans hid in his dressing room after the initial slaughter, but were found by the killers who then murdered them all, except for a kid hiding under his leather jacket
His voice shook and he fought back tears as he explained how so many of the band's fans at the gig in Paris were killed because they would not leave their friends behind. A total of 89 were killed in the Bataclan in the night of terror that saw 130 innocent people murdered.

Hughes - sitting alongside band mate Joshua Homme, who was not at the gig - described the chaos after three terrorists burst into the Bataclan and opened fire on the crowd.

'Several people hid in our dressing room and the killers were able to get in and killed every one of them except for a kid who was hiding under my leather jacket,' Hughes said. 'People were playing dead and they were so scared,' he added.

Hughes, who ran from the stage as the Islamists gunned down innocent revelers, said many were killed because they chose to protect their friends instead of trying to escape.
He said: 'A great reason why so many were killed was because so many people wouldn't leave their friends. So many people put themselves in front of people.'

Vice has only released a clip of the interview, which will be shown in full next week.
