President Muhammadu Buhari extends his best wishes for a triumphant outing to the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria who are in Chile to participate in this year's under-17 FIFA World Cup Tournament. The allowance of some Corpers in Osun State being delayed,WHY
Here's what happening. Majority of the Corpers using a bank in Osun State have not been payed their monthly allowance, which is supposed to have been paid early this month. According to some corpers who went to make enquiries at the bank, they said the issue is from NYSC. While those that complained to NYSC said it's reportedly from the Federal Government. Worthy to note is that Osun State does not pay state allowance to corpers like other states. It's always delayed until they finish service. Then they get paid for just few months.

NUT - 600 teachers killed by Boko Haram, 19,000 displaced
The National President of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, (NUT), Comrade Michael Olukoya, on Monday, October 5, said that the union has lost over 600 of its members to Boko Haram attacks, Daily Trust reports. Olukoya made the statement during the 2015 World Teachers' Day celebration in Ado Ekiti.

Motorcycle thief in a fatal accident while running with stolen motorcycle.
A thief was involved in an accident while trying to escape with the motorcycle he stole along Abu King Shuluwa road, Makurdi Benue state yesterday October 1st. According to Benue.com, the thief who disguised as a passenger, had flagged down a motorcycle rider and asked to be taken to Tse-Ayihe, a suburb on the outskirts of Makurdi. When they arrived at his destination, the thief forcefully snatched the motorcycle from the rider.
